Stone Meaning:
The agate family is made up of different types of quartz. Crazy lace agate, also known as “Mexican agate,” is an interesting variety. The peculiarity of crazy lace agate lies mainly in its mixture of colors, ranging from white to yellow, passing through gray, red or blue, etc.
The formation of mad lace agate dates back to the Cretaceous period (between 65 and 90 million years ago). The most interesting deposits of this fine stone are mainly found in the state of Chihuahua in Mexico. Officially, the discovery of crazy lace agate dates back to 1895, when it was first recorded. It seems, however, that the stone fell into oblivion in the years that followed. It was rediscovered in the fifties of the last century on the occasion of the construction of a highway. That’s where its exploitation began. On a physical level, it is believed to have natural benefits for the heart and circulatory system. By invigorating the blood supply to the muscles, the stone would help relieve cramps or heavy legs. It helps against allergies and would help boost the immune system.
Beneficial for the circulation of body fluids, it would help strengthen the kidneys, bladder and gallbladder.
On a spiritual and emotional level, it has energizing virtues that strengthen the body and mind. The stone would help overcome conscious or unconscious fears and phobias. It would help to dispel feelings of insecurity and lack of self-confidence, bringing out the energy potential buried in each of us. It helps you to accept yourself better to better achieve inner peace. Promoting positive feelings by strengthening extra-personal bonds and benevolence towards those around us.
On a karmic level, mad agate is an anchor stone. Tied to Mother Earth, she would draw energy from her to face life’s challenges. Her preferred chakras are the root chakra, solar plexus chakra, throat chakra, and third eye chakra. This stone is favorable to all astrological signs without distinction.
The purification of agate is carried out by soaking the stone in demineralized water. For its recharge, exposure to the sun on a quartz mass would give the stone back its beneficial energy.
