Stone Meaning:

Vanadinite is a stone with a hexagonal system, characterized by a beautiful red or dark brown color. It belongs to the vanadate family and the apatite group. It is found in the form of red, hexagonal, tabular, or prismatic crystals. It works well when put in contact with the second chakra. The main meeting places are Arizona, Argentina, Mexico, Morocco, Austria, South Africa. It is a very rare stone, especially appreciated by stone collectors.

It was first discovered in Mexico in 1801. It was a professor at the National University of Mexico, the geologist Andrés Manuel del Rio, who discovered it. It was 29 years later that Swedish chemist Nils Gabriel Sefström identified the new element and named it vanadium. That’s when the stone took the name Vanadinite.

Among the highest quality vanadinite gemstones, those from Morocco are among the best. Their structure is a hexagonal prism and they have a beautiful blood color.

Vanadinite has many interesting properties. First of all, it teaches us to learn from failures, recognizing the error and its message. In this way, it allows you to recognize new paths, possibilities still to be explored in order to finally reach the goal. It no longer keeps us enslaved to the wrong situations. It therefore allows you to overcome despair and the sense of defeat. On a spiritual level, vanadinite, on the other hand, stimulates us to cross a much more conscious path.

On a physical level, vanadinite, on the other hand, helps to counteract latent diseases and fights recurrent inflammation. You can use it by applying it directly to the area you are interested in. It should not be used to prepare elixirs.

You can charge it with the Reiki stone treatment, it also goes well with the violet flame. If you are not active for Reiki, place vanadinite on a beautiful amethyst druse or on top of a touch crystal.

You can clean it under running water, but for a short time and remember to dry it carefully afterwards. I advise you to expose it to moonlight instead of sunlight. It is not particularly suitable for making a traditional pendant so, I recommend that you put the stone in a natural fiber bag and hang it around your neck. Otherwise, you can just keep it in your pocket.

If you want to use it at night, simply put it inside the pillowcase. It is useful mentally and spiritually.

You can hold it in your hands during meditation or close to you when performing a Reiki treatment.
